When I was just a very, very little boy; about 60 years ago, my Mother purchased The Poky Little Puppy. She would read it to me over and over and over again. She read it to me so much that I actually memorized some of the dialog. Smart little guy was I.
Anyway I saw the 65th anniversary edition on Amazon and I just had to buy it for my first grandchild. She is only 6 months old now; but when the time is right, Grandpa will read this story to her over and over again. The color has been fully restored and I can't believe my recall of this wonderful children's story. I couldn't recommend it more. Thanks for keeping this story alive.
