This book is definitely better fitted to younger toddlers than it would be for the pre-school ages. It is short, with few words on each page, which I like since the images hold their attention (in color). I think the plain language is easy for young children to understand and the author was very careful about not being overwhelming or scary. All-in-all, a great book for kids around 2 & 3. I would purchase again.
